Ingredients
- ▢ 4 tablespoon self raising flour
- ▢ 2 tablespoon brown sugar
- ▢ 1 ½ tablespoon cocoa powder
- ▢ Pinch of salt
- ▢ 1 large egg
- ▢ 3 tablespoon melted and cooled butter
- ▢ 3 tablespoon milk
- ▢ ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Place all the dry ingredients – self raising flour, brown sugar, cocoa powder and salt - in a large bowl. Mix. Set aside.
- Break the egg into another bowl, and whisk lightly. Add in butter, milk and vanilla extract. Stir.
- Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients, and pour in the egg mixture. Mix together to make smooth batter without any lumps.
- Pour the batter into a 500 ml mug. Microwave for 90 seconds. Top with whipped cream or ice cream if you like.
- Serve immediately.
