beef and veggie pizza - 1

Remember the basic pizza base I made few days ago? Well, I actually made it with the ultimate aim of enjoying homemade pizza.

I love pizza. And I love a crisp base and plenty of toppings. I know everyone have their own favorites. For me this is the ultimate one. Homemade base, ground beef, veggies – very simple yet perfect.

As for the pizza sauce, you can either use canned tomatoes or tomato puree. The pureed tomatoes will give you a more intense flavor compared to the canned ones. If using canned tomatoes, place them in the grinder and give a quick whizz.

I always use homemade base for all my pizzas. Never used store bought ones. Surprising, isn’t it?
