- Broth (stock) - Vegetable or chicken.

How To Make One Pan Creamy Pasta
Add all the ingredients to a pan - Place all the ingredients including pasta, vegetables, oregano, garlic and onions in the pan in a single layer. Pour in cream and broth (stock).

Cook pasta - Give a quick stir, and cook. Once the pasta and veggies are cooked, you can stir in grated parmesan and parsley or basil.

- ▢ 300 g your favorite pasta (I used shells)
- ▢ 250 g roma or cherry tomatoes halved
- ▢ 1 small red onion sliced
- ▢ 2 garlic cloves chopped
- ▢ 1 cup frozen green peas
- ▢ ½ cup canned diced tomatoes
- ▢ 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ▢ 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- ▢ ¾ cup thickened (heavy) cream
- ▢ 2 cups broth (stock), vegetable or chicken
- ▢ Grated parmesan to garnish
- ▢ Chopped basil or parsley to garnish
Instructions
- Place a large frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Add pasta to the center of the pan.
- Place tomatoes, red onions, garlic and green peas around the pasta in a single layer.
- Pour tomatoes over the pasta. Drizzle with olive oil.
- Sprinkle with dried oregano.
- Pour in cream and broth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Make sure pasta is submerged in the stock or broth.
- Bring to a boil. Cook, covered, for about 10-13 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and pasta is tender.
- Garnish with grated parmesan and chopped parsley or basil.
