The delicious old-fashioned garlic bread has long been one of my all-time favorites. The ultimate combo of butter and garlic is just phenomenal! So, how about incorporating this amazingly delicious flavor into your favorite flatbread.

If you’re a fan of the traditional naan, this garlic naan recipe is your one way ticket to indulging in the classic garlic- butter combo in a flatbread. The basic recipe remains the same - garlic + butter + herbs. For the herbs, you’ll need to substitute parsley with coriander (cilantro) leaves.

This traditional flatbread is insanely delicious, but when topped with this garlic mixture, it’s elevated to the next level.

Let’s make garlic naan

The basic naan recipe is a simple combo of flour, yeast, milk and yogurt. And the real secret of making the perfect naan is the perfect dough. With perfect dough, I mean, well-risen dough.

Once the dough is ready, roll out small balls and create cute oval-shaped flatbreads. The cooked garlic naan is brushed with butter garlic mixture. There you go. The perfect buttery, garlicky naans to enjoy with your favorite curry.

I really love to sprinkle them with plenty of chopped coriander (cilantro) leaves. The more the better. I’m obsessed with fresh coriander (cilantro) leaves.

The favorite part? A mouthful of this naan soaked in rich curry sauce. This flatbread is to die for!
