Banana fritters or pazham pori - If you’re craving for something sweet, make these banana fritters. A simple yet delicious snack made with the humble bananas. Crisp on the outside and soft inside, this is ideal for your afternoon snack or any time of the day.

I was born and brought up in a small town in one of the southern states of India, Kerala. The culinary story of this beautiful state nicknamed God’s own country won’t be complete if I don’t tell you about one of its signature snacks, banana fritters, or pazham pori (as the locals call it).
These classic banana fritters brings together the perfect blend of textures – crispy outside, soft inside. Get the batter right, and you’ll be rewarded with perfectly crispy fritters.
If you’ve never made them before, try it now. Serve them hot with a cuppa for that authentic street food experience!
